An exciting and technically proficient drummer, Paul is a veteran of stage and studio whose music education includes the MacPhail Institute in Minneapolis and the DePaul University School of Music in Chicago. Paul favors Yamaha drums and Zildjian âAâ and âKâ series cymbals. Away from his 9-piece drum kit, he is a successful “serial small business entrepreneur.”
Paul’s musical training has been long and extensive:
- MacPhail Center for the Arts throughout high school
- Minnesota Youth Symphonies (two years)
- DePaul University School of Music (Chicago, Illinois)
Likewise, Paul’s performance background is quite diverse, including 6 years with a percussion ensemble, 3 years in a Wisconsin-based originals band, two cover bands, and substituting with three other groups. During his high school years, Paul also played in two productions with the Theatre In The Round Players, one of the most prominent thespian groups in the central United States.
Paul is also a church musician, playing in a talented worship band for over five years that has performed original and cover music.
